Preserving a Tradition of Competitive & Recreational Swimming
For over 60 years, the Manufacturers Golf & Country Club in Oreland, Pennsylvania, has been a leader in competitive swimming in the Philadelphia area. To ensure the long-term viability of both competition and leisure swimming, Wallover Architects was commissioned to evaluate and modernize the club’s aging pool complex.
The comprehensive renovation, completed in Summer 2004, introduced a state-of-the-art six-lane, 25-meter competition pool with an integrated diving well, along with a separate tot and leisure pool. Additionally, new support facilities were strategically relocated to provide an unobstructed view of the golf course and the iconic finishing 18th hole.
