Completed in Spring 2008, the spray ground was developed by the Pottstown Borough Parks and Recreation Department as part of a larger master plan to reinvigorate downtown spaces. It also represents the Pottstown Parks and Recreation Foundation’s first major revitalization initiative—offering a fresh take on public aquatic recreation.
As the first spray ground of its kind in the region, the Fountain of Youth quickly became a beloved feature of Memorial Park and a standout example of creative municipal recreation.
