Wallover Architects is proud to lead the design of the new Berkeley Aquatics Training Facility, a 48,000 square foot aquatic complex in Warren Township, NJ. Commissioned by BAC Center of Excellence, LLC, this highly specialized facility was designed to support advanced swim training, teaching, physical therapy, and community-based aquatic wellness. These documents represent WAi’s initial concepts for the project.
At the heart of the facility is the “2004 Olympic Trials Warm-Up Pool,” a 50-meter, 10-lane competition pool with an additional three lanes at 25 meters—offering elite-level training capacity for swimmers at all levels.
A dedicated 50-foot, four-lane pool is included for learn-to-swim programming, coaching sessions, and foundational technique development.
An integrated therapy pool with a raised platform deck supports physical rehabilitation, hydrotherapy sessions, and therapeutic exercise.
