    Greensboro Aquatic Center Hosts U.S. Synchronized Swimming 2012 Olympic Team Trials

    The Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) has quickly established itself as a premier venue for competitive swimming and aquatic events. At its ribbon-cutting ceremony, the facility was awarded a prestigious honor—hosting the 2012 U.S. Synchronized Swimming Olympic Team Trials on November 11-14, 2011.

    This four-day competition will bring together America’s top synchronized swimmers, all vying for a spot on Team USA for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. With its state-of-the-art amenities, exceptional pool design, and strong local support, Greensboro was the natural choice for such a high-profile event.
